For sure, we modellers (me included) are some strange folks, building small replicas of war-machines. Though the combination of a picture of a warplane bringing massive destruction to a city, with a Christmas message is a bit odd

Agreed, slightly ironic; but so were the greetings, no doubt, chalked by ground crews on many a cookie.

It's the machine at Hendon (and with the roundel it spells "poos"). I suspect the kit will be a stunner. If I make a bomber rather than a Lancastrian it'll likely be Just Jane.
