Ive got the wing shoulder mounts JB Welded on, and have smoothed them for fit of the wings.................stay tuned!

The jet engine is a brilliant thing, but sometimes I wish we hadn't invented it!

I'd got a little R2800 assembly line going.......

I got all the seemingly thousand parts for the two R2800s primed in Mr Surfacer 1500 black

Got the prop blades completed with the HpH (apparently printed HGW) wet transfer decals. After I realized what they were, they worked most excellently

Lastly, I also got the wing shoulder mounts HpH provides to keep the prototypical F7F dihederal in check installed as well:

I slathered the hardened steel pin that goes through the center of the fuse and wing shoulders with a ton of JB Weld, and as you can see, used it as a bit of filler to take out gaps:

I'll be back on the engines today to try to forge ahead on them. The JB Weld is now fully cured so I'm going to forge ahead with gluing the wings on too. Yay!

That will be a BIG step because I intend to get the horizontal and vertical stabilizers glued on after that.
