Man that looks sweet!....Harv

Thank you Harv!

Oh yea..I actually thought the winter overspray would encompass large sections of the airframe..glad it's not. That red just pops!

Thanks Shaka! There are several different interpretations of the winter overspray. One even shows almost the entire plane. Mine is a bit of a mix of a couple.

Carl,

FLAWLESS and Neat painting.. you have a very steady hand for skilful airbrushing.

Looks Perfect from Over the pond!

:wow:

:goodjob:

:clap2:

Thanks Maru! I tend to brace my arm a bit so that helps.

A bit more progress.

She has legs now!!!

The kit has an error in that it shows twin scissor links on the MLG legs but there is only one per leg. I used resin tires from AMS on the build. I'm not sure if Harold had them in his catalogue or if they're cast to order.

Next up was the bay doors. I attached the PE hinges but want to strengthen the joint a bit.

I added a small strip of styrene to the inner edge. It turns out this is more accurate as the Arado doesn't have hinge arms.

So I removed the hinge arms and just need to touch up the paint.

For whatever reason, I decided to work from the inside out this time. So first up was the red at the centre.

Then it was time for the white followed by the yellow.

The blue was last and here she is with all her markings on.

The yellow P in a circle came from a Montex set for the Me163. It's a bit small but was the closest I could get.
