LSP_Kevin
It's almost a shame to see all that fine work covered in primer! Still looks fantastic, though. Kev ClumsyDude, airscale and Jeff

Kev I'm with Kev on that ... mixed feelings about it, there's something awe inspiring about the mixed media precision. Gotta be done though, and awesome work as always. DonH
Stellar werk soos gewoonlik! Take another look at the electrical gizmo cylinders. Have you missed a couple of bolt heads on the end caps? Details may have changed from the mkV to the Mk XIV, so I am not sure. airscale

Guest
"propeller" on the lever ? Really? who are you and where do you come from? Also mixed fellings about painting.....Harv
Cees Broere
I am glad you are painting all those parts Peter, the end result will look like a fully authentic Spitfire cockpit albeit in miniature rather than an unfinished one. 109 and airscale
Squizzy 78
One thing the primer does do, and that is that it confirms what we all already knew. That everything we see is a flawless finish, it's looking amazing! Jeff and airscale

airscale
good day ladies Stellar werk soos gewoonlik! Take another look at the electrical gizmo cylinders. Have you missed a couple of bolt heads on the end caps? Details may have changed from the mkV to the Mk XIV, so I am not sure. probably did yes, now I have dry fitted it you can barely see it so I am going tonleave as is - in fact I just dropped it so it is in a few bits at the moment You'll be telling us next, that the throttle quadrant works... well, the levers do move if thats any good Alas, it's time to cover it with paint. I also need to decide which side to install the panel and seat bulkheads into as plumbing that side will be easier as I have access, once both sides are added so it becomes a pod like this things will become very tricky... the plan is once at this stage I can add one further 'wall' which will be the bottom surface and that will carry the rudder pedals and control column .. need to stop procrastinating and just get building... Cees Broere
Peter, I would install the bits into the starboard side as that is usually in view, and any imperfections on the opposite part would be less noticable.
