That does seem strange, as virtually all the other clear parts are new. A new windscreen should not have been too hard, and whip the 3mm off the top of the nose. Oh well, out with the razor saw. On one photo on page 10 if you squint and try real hard you can almost see a microscopic concave section, but the others above it show just a flat line from the upper fuselage curve down to the lower curve.
