Ironwing Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 (edited) Pete, I must admit that aim lost for words to describe what you've done here. In this light ill just say...wow. Geoff Edited March 19, 2014 by Ironwing
Big Tony Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Well done Peter, I`ve really enjoyed following your journey on this one, learned a lot along the way and I`m immensely grateful for your kind help with my mediocre effort! Your model looks like it could fire up and fly off into the sky,.......it really does look like a real aeroplane!! Looking forward to your Hornet! Cheers Tony
Hubert Boillot Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Absolutely outstanding work Peter ! The scale realism you have achieved is a reference for all of us . Looking forward to follow you on the Hornet Hubert
airscale Posted November 7, 2014 Author Posted November 7, 2014 just a quick note to say I am packing for Telford and think I have enough space to get the Sea Fury in the car If Iain & Roy will have me, it should be on the 32SIG stand if anyone fancies a peek. Last year it was there in the 'nude' as a WIP, so I guess I should follow up now that it is nearly done to show how I have finished (ruined...) it see you there.. Peter Uilleann 1
Radders Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 I'm quite sad seeing it in paint, I loved it like this lol Untitled by Totallyrad.co.uk, on Flickr I look forward to seeing it again though... Uilleann and sandokan 2
Shoggz Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Gosh, I can't believe it's over three years since I typed that.. I think this thread deserves a re-stir!
Cees Broere Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Thanks for bringing this one up again as I thought it had been destroyed by the photobucket madness but luckily it hasn't. Will spend some time rummaging through this wonderful thread again. Cheers Cees
Martinnfb Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 After 3 years I am still blown away by this build. To the top !
Landrotten Highlander Posted October 3, 2021 Posted October 3, 2021 Right, been reading this thread from page one over the past 4 days. Had to stop once in a while to give the eyes arest from looking at all that detail you put in. It has been an inspiration as well as a valuable teaching tool. Thanks for your hard work in keeping this log so updated throughout your struggles. SwissFighters 1
