Thanks  😀

The model is finished but I am making various additions to it. Recently I made an exhibition stand with a fragment of the landing strip:

But I am also making figures which I very often add to my works, in my intention they enliven the space, allow you to refer to the size of the model and very often provide a certain context for history. In the case of the PZL P. model these will be two figures which we can see in archival photos from Bucharest 1930. The first person, in a pilot's suit, is the PZL test pilot J.Kossowski, while the second person, in a suit, is the aircraft designer Z. Puławski. The figures are also made from scratch, although I used elements of other ready-made figures. The figures are inspired by a photo but they did not come out identical, however they are similar so they can be.

It's hard to say what will happen with Gee Bee Z, for now I lack motivation.

I painted the figures:

They were placed on the model stand:

This is what they look like with the PZL P.1 aircraft model:

The model premiered at the Model Festival in Bytom. I entered it for evaluation in the "Black Diamonds" points competition, because this is the highest league of modeling competitions. It is true that the model did not receive top positions because the competing models were glued masterfully. I must admit that for several years now, the Bytom competition has been increasingly visible to the new, young generation of modelers and their perfectly composed works in spectacular paint jobs, with which it is increasingly difficult for me to compete. But I am very happy about it, because it is clear that Polish modeling is developing perfectly and is competitive in the world. And although I was not counted among the leaders, the model was noticed by the "Modelarscy Masochiści" group. From whom I received a nice distinction for my work. And also by Czech modelers who gave me a beautiful Strato-Models modeling set. I would like to thank you very much for the distinctions.

Well done Marcin, sometimes it's the recognition from unexpected people that makes it all worthwhile! Your hand-crafted figures are absolutely fantastic... :o

Marcin glad you did the PZL!!!!! I´ll buy you as gift some classes to figure face paint. By the way I´m also the worst in figure paint specially the faces, they are so difficult to get the proper finish.:P
