Whatever. You’ll pardon me if I disagree with your opinion.

Mark_C reacted to LSP_K2 in B-17 nose job
It's an addition to the answers already given. I believe the bombardier operated the chin guns remotely, this leaves the other two weapons to be pressed into service by the navigator, on whichever side needed defending.

You could try annealing the wire (if it's copper) in a torch or even a candle flame. Heat it till it's red hot and let it cool naturally. It should be much softer and easier to twist. Alternatively, you could just get thin solder strands and twist them.

Mark_C reacted to ScottsGT in Laminar Flow Design 3D printed seamless intake for Tamiya Phantom
Just finished up a Tamiya Phantom last week. Although I had several sets of AM intakes, I chose FOD covers because of the contrasting color made it look better.
So glad to see new AM support for these older kits.

Mark_C reacted to Fischkopp Model Company in Dam Buster conversion set for the Border Lanc kit
Hello Folks!
I am sorry that I am not a daily visitor to this forum.
However, now I am back and was quite surprised that some people here on the forum are taking interest in what I do.
It also seems that I have to explain myself. I am sorry that I don’t have an internet page for people to look at my products and ordering them (anonymously). I offer Facebook, instagram and an email address. People can get in touch, we can interact with each other, exchange the latest status or upcoming ideas. That’s what I love! That keeps me motivated!
I am doing all the design and print work in my spare time after work or at the weekend.
All my customers who dealt with me until now (from Canada, the US of A via the pond to GB and Europe to Japan and Australia) are very satisfied with my products and the way I deal with customers or the community!
I am sorry that I haven’t replied earlier, I hope you enjoyed your set from Iconicair.

I loooooved that kit! I'd put in the jeep, take out the jeep, get little soldiers in a cluster around it . . . IIRC it had a "working" winch, too!

Lukgraph will be releasing the Albatros W.4 in 1/32 by the end of February, with a 1/24 version coming later in the year.

Mark_C reacted to TBC in Fisher F9F-8 Cougar problem
Success! I used some Bob Smith Industries Un-Cure, drilled a few holes to (hopefully) get some de-bonder to the bottom, and then worked around the edges with a #11 chisel blade. After that I sort of sliced it up into little pieces until I got it all out. You can see the white paint at the bottom of the rectangular hole, which means I got to the correct depth as the wheel well had been painted prior to gluing in the gear leg. Important, obviously, so that the model sits level.
It's 2-3mm too long, but a little piece of plastic stock will tighten it up. The de-bonder does remove paint.

Flashbacks of building the old 1/72 Revell kit as a kid. I’m surprised the AM industry didn’t come up with a MASH pod.

Mark_C got a reaction from Pup7309 in Kotare teaser - it's a Bf 109K!
Hm. If ICM does it, it will likely be great. Let's hope they do.

Mark_C got a reaction from Out2gtcha in Kotare teaser - it's a Bf 109K!
I do have to wonder a little about this. If Kotare's big reason for coming out with (yet another %^&*$# 109, that even has an already kitted competitor of the same type, not to mention numerous versions already out there) this kit is because it's popular, why on earth not do a P-51B? Surely that would be at least as popular as this version?
