Hey

If you scribe panel lines and feel the need to correct some because they are not straight enough... what do you fill the incorrect line with ? It seems to me that some fillers will chip if you try to scribe a new line in the immediate vicinity...

I use superglue. I use the super thin and sand within minutes and rescribe while still soft.

CA for me too, applied with a toothpick, however I do not let it set rock hard as I would then be sanding the softer plastic and not the CA, so I let it set for 30 mins or so and then sand it.

Cheers

Dennis

hi,

I would recommend to mix a drop of cyano with talc.

Il will speed up the cure time.

genreally, the mix is dried within minutes.

But maybe it is to hard then to rescribe in it.

I don't scribe incorrect lines so I don't know.  Just kidding.  Enough said, super glue.

Sincerely,

Mark

Rather than talc, I am using micro glass balls with CA glue when the line to fill is quite large/deep.

I really like using black super glue.  It dries quickly and it can handle being rescribed.  I like the black variety because I had problems seeing if my lines were filled.

I always use accelerator since it keeps the SG from shrinking and it actually doesn't dry as hard.

Hope this helps...

Bryan
