That's the damnedest thing I've ever seen here. Very imaginative.

Very surprising, but the coat of paint is flawless !

No cheating allowed with this kind of finish !

Following the big Photobucket rip-off attempt, all my pictures on the forum cannot display anymore. I try to reupload the RFI pictures, but i'm not sure i'd have enough time and energy to reupload the pictures of the WIP threads. If you're interested in a specific subject and want me to reupload some pictures, just let me know. :)

That's awesome, Erwin. I assume you dry brushed that gold? I've seen samples of modelers using the drybrush technique to apply NMF and they look very good!

Hi,

Not drybrushed.

But it's not that simple with metal-colour. It dries much faster than other enamels.

I put enough paint on the brush to get an even coat.Going over it several times with wet paint will start to chip the paint.

It's a delicate balance.

I used 1 and 1/2 yar of Revell enamel to get this done.It got three coats untill I got this result.Slightly sanding it with a kitchen sponge between coats.

Thank you all for the nice comments.

This is something I wanted to do for a long time.Just couldn't decide what kit to use. The Arado seemed a good option.

I first planned to do this in silver.I'm glad I went for gold .
