chrish Posted March 2 Author Share Posted March 2 A little more progress, some paint and assembly underway The parts fit so far has been so precise and tight the model can almost be snapped together and a bit of "hangar rash" from some clumsy sanding, the very point at the top end of the intake was snapped off during a sanding to remove a mold seam replaced here with a bit of .010 cut to a triangle, glued on and sanded to shape the same part with a bit of primer and paint....blurry makes it look better Thanks for looking chaos07, Hartmann52, SwissFighters and 14 others 17 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dsahling1 Posted March 3 Share Posted March 3 I did a Trumpeter 1/32 MiG-29 Fulcrum C in the Ukrainian Digital Camo, lots of fun to build and paint, the touchups can be time consuming but overall it'll look great in the end. I really though that Trumpeter 1/32 MiG-29 is a highly underrated kit as it came together really well, about the only place it needed a little work was where the intakes/nacells meet with some of the landing gear bays. I'm planning on another one of these in Russian Sea of Avoz unit camouflage. Anyhow, really nice work youre doing, landing gear looks great! I'm not sure I understand the "Nazi" reference...although it is Russian, it is to be finished in Ukrainian markings. However I my intention is not/ was never to offend anyone. If the build is of an offensive nature I will delete the project and not post anymore images.
