Hi there Tolga, great choice and I'm following along as well.  Quick question:  Where did you happen to find a B series crankcase with the GE magnetos?  Is that a Hasegawa sprue or did that come from a Trumpeter kit or somewhere else perhaps?

Thanks

I will use a combination of Hasegawa's cylinders part, front section of quickboost engine and magnetos from my previous Trumpy's Razorback.

Hope that this is a correct combination for D30

Here are some pictures from engine work

Great job with the R-2800-59, Tolga!

I appreciate the addition of the ‘prop governor’ (I learned the expression just a few hours ago :P).

Cheers,

Quang

Thanks Quang

Mr. @Juggernut is the one who cleared up the confusion I had about the P-47 engines and details. I thank him again

That is where I learned the words ‘prop governor’.
I’m struggling hard with my MiniArt engine. When they say ADVANCED on the box top, they REALLY mean it!

This is looking really tasty Tolga!

I love Jugs and really must get round to building one in 1/32nd. (or indeed a Kinetic 1/24th!)

My Tamiya 1/48th version is one of my favourite completed models (and that's saying something for me!)

Can't wait to see your further progress...
