Hmm, it just dawned on me that Harold is the second to announce his retirement from the resin cottage industry. Mike West of Lone Star Models is also looking for a buyer.

Second since...? Many other ones closed the doors since the beginning of the current decade: Greymatter, Zotz, RB and so on whereas some others struggle to go on. Hopefully, some recent actors such as Anyz or Reskit are developing prolific lines of good products.

True.  But I think it was just this past week when Mike made the announcement.

Harold, thanks so much for all of the hard work that's gone into your exemplary product line and the attention and support you've lavished on fellow modelers! You have absolutely gone the extra mile for us. I treasure the AMS items I have as well as the special projects you've done for me.

I wonder if the new owner of Squadron, Brandon Lowe would be interested in the AMS line? He has a lot of experience in producing resin models and aftermarket across multiple genres.

Here's wishing you all the best and lots of fun in the next chapter!

Sorry to hear this Harold. It was always a pleasure using your products and I appreciated it when you made the Mosquito tanks for me.

Thanks for doing stuff that the others didn't.

Carl

I second that.   Harold's the reason why I was able to do a couple of my builds.   Amazing stuff, very fair price.

Harold,

Sorry to hear you are leaving the hobby but I'm grateful you were part of it for so long.  Your T-33 parts and your generous advice in 2014 made my twin-tailed T-33 conversion the pride and joy of my many years of modeling.

All the best!    :goodjob:

Have several of your 1/32 items (A-6, F-100, F-105 & RF-4 parts) and they're priceless.

Sorry to see you retire, but best wishes (and I hope somebody, somewhere, can complete the F-4 Falcon launch rails set you started).

Cheers

Tony
