Looks great

those stencils look like they produce great results but I don’t like the inability to see exactly where they are going down and also I’m not sure (easily) how can do you the multi part ie 2 (or 3) colour masks given the Tamiya / kabuki/ washi tape material?

interested in your thoughts and experience

thanks for sharing

thank you guys for your comments!

Nick,

yes its not that easy like decals that you can move them around until you find the exact position, but you can place them in the right position if you measure and draw some guidelines on the kabuki tape and also on the model . You can always have a reference point . If you think that it  will add that little extra something, then go for it .

I dont know exactly what you mean with multi colour mask , but if i understand correctly , then you can cover the part you don't wanna paint and then cover the other one

thanks!

S

Wow Duke those stencils really look the part.  Very nice subtle weathering, too.  Keep going, man!

thank you Citadelgrad!

some more masking and painting on the. walkaway lines....

this took me all afternoon , this is sick!!

measuring , cutting and placing in the right position is so time consuming since the masks are not transparent..
