Seversky Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 Greetings! I decided to build my favorite fighter F-5F (b/n 83021/5395) in 32nd scale from this Kitty Hawk set. The fighter will be in the colors of the Taiwan Air Force. Model configuration - cockpit open, engine not running, weapons bay and landing gear bays are open. The construction began half a year ago. Since my English allows me only order a drinks at the bar, then in topic will be a minimum of text and a lot of pictures. I began by strengthening the structure. And audited all the hatches. I tested rivets on the rear of the fuselage. Youngtiger1, Rockie Yarwood, Violator1991 and 11 others 14
Seversky Posted November 4, 2021 Author Posted November 4, 2021 The manufacturers of the model forgot about the balancing weight for the two-seat version of the F-5 fighter. Made it myself. scvrobeson, themongoose, Paul in Napier and 10 others 13
Seversky Posted November 4, 2021 Author Posted November 4, 2021 Finished panel lines and upgrading the bottom of the fuselage. Rainer Hoffmann, Youngtiger1, themongoose and 11 others 14
Seversky Posted November 4, 2021 Author Posted November 4, 2021 I did the same with the upper fuselage. spartacus2000, Hartmann52, scvrobeson and 20 others 23

themongoose Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 Looking at it again, how did you make the new fuel doors on top of fuselage?

On the right side I putty, and on the left side I drilled holes and glued round inserts from the sprue plus pieces of photo etching from below. Greg W and Kagemusha 2
