Iain
Needed cheering up - and you can't beat a little 'retail therapy' for that! Had a few parcels arrive - some books for the B-24/Privateer - some inspirational books from a fellow model club member - and some miscellanious stuff from an ace person over at Britmodeller who was having a bit of a clear out... Finally a couple of books of pure inspiration for those Wingnut Wings kits I've been afraid to start - acquired via fellow club member and LSPer Richard (bstachel) of Aviattic fame: These have been my bedtime 'reading' for last two nights... Iain
Indeed - and it's cheered me up no end Kevin! I have been pretty well behaved this year though... *But* I do have to go through the stash at some point and sell off some of the stuff I'm never going to get to in my lifetime... Iain I dread those decisions, as it seems no matter what I get rid of, sooner or later I want it again. Several years ago, I gave away a dozen or so books, and I still regret that to this day. LSP_K2
A good friend bought this by mistake, thinking it was something else, so gave it to me instead of keeping it. I'm tickled silly too, as I'd been wanting this kit for some time now. Rick Griewski, coogrfan, Bill_S and 4 others
Tnarg
Thanks for those airshow pics. I guess that pretty much seals the story on whether I should do a panel line wash or not. Some of those were quite defined and dark. Tnarg Shawn M

Iain Whats the Volume2 book like? I've not seen any reviews, I have the Felixstowe in my stash, and was thinking of buying the book (i usually use forum build threads for referances) On 10/21/2018 at 2:20 AM, Iain (32SIG) said:

Iain
Kevin's review pretty much nails it! I have the Felix too and the content in Vol 2 provides lots of inspiration - the build they cover is beautifully done. I didn't put it in the Reference database, as it's purely a modelling book, with no real aviation content. Kev

Kev OK. Volume one is there (added by me, I think), as are a load of Osprey modeling titles.
Rick Griewski
I too have Albatros fatigue so seeing the Triplane arrive was a joy. I need both variants of the next biplane release. Rick LSP_K2
