Uncarina
I know there’s no way this would sway Zoukei Mura, but I for one would love a 1/32 Seiran floatplane. Had to get this out there. BloorwestSiR
I agree with you Tom, a 1/32 Seiran would be very nice. Hopefully we'll get one someday soon-ish. Carl Uncarina
is it windy yet?
Everybody likes what they like. After all the kits that have been tooled lately, this may not seem so far fetched. Zoukei-Mura seems like a suitable source. Uncarina

seiran01
1/32 Seiran was the first question I ever asked Zoukei Mura, a day after they first announced their J7W1. Still have my fingers crossed that I'll get one before I kick the bucket! Uncarina

Tony T
A Seiran would be great: nose of a stuka, front cockpit glazing like a Hurricane, aft like a Zero, with a sort of Me 262 tail, and all on floats! LSP_Mike
Hasegawa would do it right. I can't think of anyone else.
alaninaustria
The Serian and the Rex would be awesome Japanese subjects in 1/32 scale!, Cheers Alan Edited December 22, 2019 by alaninaustria D.B. Gazzas
Did the Seiran ever see action, or just take part in abortive raids on the Panama Canal?

Never saw action, I-400 and I-401 had been redirected from the Panama mission to be stationed off of Guam (think it was Guam...) with the intent to attack the staging of the force that would have invaded japan. The six Seirans on those two subs were reportedly punctured full of holes and dumped into the ocean (shot off the catapult?) when Japan surrendered. I wonder if a land based Seiran would have been any better than the Ki-61. D Bellis
seiran01
Definitely not... it wasn’t designed for maneuverability. Now the B7A Ryusei/Grace, that one would have been a closer match
