kkarlsen
Next up the engines and cowlings... Starting with the Eduard aftermarket PE for the engines and cowlings... I'm not happy at all with the 'cowling formers' Looks nothing like the real ones... Well they had come off again, and some new ones from scratch... Also added the firewall/bulkhead behind the engine, as I want to display it open... Next up is the final assembly of the engines, with added ignition cables etc... kkarlsen
The final stages of the engines build, not as clean as I would like, but it will have to do... Edited July 5, 2017 by kkarlsen Whitey
Gene
Fantastic! At first glance, in the layout of parts for the engine, I thought I saw a row of pistons and rods awaiting assembly - I just about quite modeling with that!!! Beautiful detailing. kkarlsen

Out2gtcha
Man, that looks fantastic! The paint and weathering are spot on IMHO. The engines really do look great. Have you ever thought about opening up the cowls? The KHM kit OOB cowl openings are quite a bit too small.
kkarlsen
Thank's - Yes I'm aware. I have already made the cowling openings larger... Edited July 5, 2017 by kkarlsen Whitey and Out2gtcha
