Artful69
Tyres? ... of the exploding variety, no less!! ... I'm sure, being Tamiya, there is some cunning methodology behind the "WTF?" approach Rog Zero77

Loic
I'd say the tyres trick is that this design avoids seams due to the split in the mould. It also allow different threads. It looks good btw LSP_Ron and Zero77

Tony T
Thanks for posting Urs. I was hoping for this as a result of the Shizuoka model show starting this week. Nice to see the three crew figures too - pilot and Nav seated, and another figure on the ladder. I, for one, hope that vinyl rubber is an option. This is likely to be hanging from the ceiling and, extended oleos or not, flat tyres look friggin ghastly. Really chuffed to have one on pre-order from HLJ Tony
ScottsGT
With all that hidden detail inside, it sure would be nice to have one released with clear sprues for the fuse and engine nacelles. Even building one with the cut aways would be nice too. Fantastic detail!
DeanKB
Good to see that the nose comes pre-cut.....
notanotherrainydaykit
Definately a glass nosed Bomber/PR variant coming as there's a break in the fuselage immediately ahead of the strengthening band looking at the pics... And looking at this view, although I can't quite see enough, but it appears that everything immediately ahead of the firewall in the nacelle is separate indicating that maybe twin stage merlins are in the pipeline aswell...
