Shaka HI
That's awesome, Erwin. I assume you dry brushed that gold? I've seen samples of modelers using the drybrush technique to apply NMF and they look very good!

I've seen samples of modelers using the drybrush technique to apply NMF and they look very good! Hi, Not drybrushed. But it's not that simple with metal-colour. It dries much faster than other enamels. I put enough paint on the brush to get an even coat.Going over it several times with wet paint will start to chip the paint. It's a delicate balance. I used 1 and 1/2 yar of Revell enamel to get this done.It got three coats untill I got this result.Slightly sanding it with a kitchen sponge between coats. Erwin
Thank you all for the nice comments. This is something I wanted to do for a long time.Just couldn't decide what kit to use. The Arado seemed a good option. I first planned to do this in silver.I'm glad I went for gold . Edited May 18, 2018 by Erwin
