Shoggz Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 It's been done by Fischkopp Model Company who previously did a Dambusters conversion for the Border Lancaster. https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=fischkopp model company Unfortunately I can't find a web link for those allergic to the book of face. It does look rather splendid! Fanes and BiggTim 2
europapete Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Just comes up with a "page not available" notice
Shoggz Posted November 16, 2023 Author Posted November 16, 2023 How about this? https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=fischkopp model company europapete 1
LSP_Kevin Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Here's the link to their official Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/fischkoppmodelcompany No website is listed, so I assume they don't have one. Kev Out2gtcha and europapete 1 1
CRAZY IVAN5 Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 The links don't work for me as I'm not on Face of the book[ and I ain't a joinin' either] Landrotten Highlander, Christa, HB252 and 1 other 4
europapete Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 Thanks Kev, that one worked. Sorry Shoggz, yours didn't. Ivan, I am not a FB member either, but you can view the pages without joining. Just X out of any popups and the pages are visible. I must say, it looks like rather nice stuff. CRAZY IVAN5 1

Yes it does look very nice, wondering how much .I also wonder what we do for cowling [ to lay it along side]
europapete Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 Don't worry about the cowling, the Erk's kicked it off to the side ages ago. CRAZY IVAN5 and Archimedes 2
thierry laurent Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 Well, considering the original kit quality this release is everything but surprising! That was only a matter of time... CRAZY IVAN5 1

Shame they do not have a website, would love to have this kit to add to the kotare kit.... dennismcc and mozart 1 1
dennismcc Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 It's a shame there is no website to order and buy their stuff but think of the savings, and the other stuff that you can buy. Cheers Dennis Landrotten Highlander 1
Rick Griewski Posted November 21, 2023 Posted November 21, 2023 The upgrade is beautiful and I have existed for months without an engine in my Kotare Spitfire. I have adapted out of the need for an engine and am comfortable at last with the price I paid for a no engine kit. I am moving on to the Early variant and later the Mk.V. My thanks to all whom supported me through this crisis. geedubelyer and Christa 2
mozart Posted November 21, 2023 Posted November 21, 2023 This has occurred on Fb this morning, Kotare suggesting the Lanc engines fit (perhaps)? and this suggests the Early is imminent: Stevepd, Pete Roberts, Rick Griewski and 1 other 4
Shoggz Posted November 21, 2023 Author Posted November 21, 2023 I saw that earlier and thought it was a restrained and classy answer from Kotare - to a question they must have had to field dozens of times!
