  • DugyB changed the title to Border Models Lancaster Nose Art *FINISHED*

Here are a few more pics with outdoor lighting.  Looks better from a scale perspective too… looking forward to my next group build and maybe getting another model built…. That’s if I have one, my stash is pretty low…
One thing I enjoy about seeing everyone’s builds is the different styles and techniques everyone uses.  Individual miniature works of art,

So, to everyone thanks for tagging along, appreciate all the feedback, cheers,  DugyB

Really fantastic result here - love this so much!

I wish we could see some other large WW2 aircraft with nose section kits like this. B-24, B-29 maybe a B-52....

I’d be all over a B-36, jeez be still my beating heart….

Beautiful build! :clap2:

I love how you made the hanging cables and the truck too!

Thanks heaps, the truck is a bastard, it has a Ford front, and a GMC rear, then I had to extend the chassis about 50-60mm. Scratch built the bed to fit the dolly. Didn’t add any pics along the way as this is a airplane forum sight, wasn’t sure what to add or leave out……:hmmm:
