Greif8
Looking good Mike! The pre-shading you did gives a nice look to the sky color. Ernest MikeMaben
Drunax
Oh, Mike! Your Hurri and the new Revell one are pushing me to being mine to life from the SOD...! Good work! MikeMaben
Scale32
Looking the goods Mike, always good to reduce the sod! Cheers Bevan MikeMaben
MikeMaben
Thanks fellas. One correction, It's not Colourcoats enamel I used, it's WEM (White Ensign Models). Hey Ernest, I didn't do any pre-shading, I gave it a wash with dark and medium grey water color. More of that to come. Greif8
dennismcc
Looking good, this is getting me in the mood for the new Revell Hurricane. Cheers Dennis MikeMaben
MikeMaben
Wheels down , man the gear on this kit is a real PITB ! ! ! I know it's nothing compared to some of you jet builders but if you get one part imperfectly placed , it throws the rest of the geometry off (cumulative tolerance errors ). Anyway, nothing exciting , just inching along ... I think I got the dihedral set right (wing root shims on top) ... ? Spinner and serial number (painted w/mask) in Night black. Wheels are Barracuda, excellent with upstop latches included, haven't seen that on any kit yet. Plan is to vacform the sliding canopy to keep it as thin as posible. Probably the windshield too. Mostly bits and bobs left so I might finish this in 2023 Greif8, Greg W, Landrotten Highlander and 14 others

Greif8
Very nice work Mike! I agree about the undercarriage being a challenge; when I built my PCM for the BoB GP that was one of the spots I had to pay close attention to. Boch
It looks beautiful in these bright colors. Hurri has a lot of charm. Great job. Great job Mike. Edited January 28, 2023 by Boch MikeMaben
LSP_Mike
Nice Mike. The oversize call sign letters really appeal to me. Looks good. MikeMaben
mozart
That Hurricane has got real “presence” Mike, I absolutely love it. One of my four Hurricane kits (two PCM, two Revell, old and new) are calling increasingly loudly to me and your build is inspirational.
