ade rowlands
Anyone know if this forthcoming release is a new tool or a repop of the Kinetic kit?
Scotsman
I Didn't know about this , but based on current releases from Revell, I'd put money on it being a Re-pop , hopefully with current RAF decals
Kagemusha
No doubt the Kinetic kit, apparently with photo etch. scvrobeson and Derek B

They've told people in the industry they're moving away from being a model company and toward being a toy company. AFAIK they haven't contracted for the CAD design on a new tool aircraft model kit since at least 2017. Guessing the Me-262 was the last one? They definitely seem to be doing a ton more re-pops, from Bandai, Eduard, ICM, Kinetic, probably others I'm forgetting. Matt
Neo
Could it be an update of their own hawk kit?

I thought they usually only do that for the Premium boxings. Wonder it’s the same set that Eduard did for Kinetic that was available separately. The Kinetic kit when issued came with a small PE fret (seatbelts, formation lights and a few other details), I'd assume that's also what will be included in the Revell box? thierry laurent
You will just get the Kinetic kit as it was released but with other decals, very probably with current RAF T2 markings. wunwinglow
geedubelyer
Hi Ade, another possible pointer to it being the Kinetic kit is the price? The Revell offering was in the low £20s when I bought one. The link that Kagemusha provided has the RRP at over £50. Phartycr0c
Phantom2
Quote Revell have done the Hawk T.1A (Red Arrows and a black one), this is a Hawk T.2 and Revell have not done that one (yet...), so I hope it will be a rebox of the Kinetic kit.
