Seversky
Hello everyone! I decided to build a "toothy" AT-33A T-Bird Guatemalan Air Force on the 32nd scale, the original Special Hobby kit. I did not find a prototype photo. And it’s very difficult to dig up non-museum photos of the Guatemalan Air Force of the 70s. There are some low quality pictures that give some idea of the prototype. If anyone has a photo of this bird - I will be very grateful for your help! I’ll talk a little about what this kit is. The kit is good, but as for the 32nd scale, the wheel bays are poorly detailed. The situation is better with the cockpit. Edited April 25, 2020 by Seversky MikeC, LSP_Kevin, Michael931080 and 5 others 7
Seversky
Discovered errors in the proposed drawing of the prototype. Noted for himself the necessary adjustments I started with the channels of the air intakes and the recessing of the junction lines (I checking the photos of various aircrafts). Don Yes, a very complicated assembly, not for beginners in modeling. Martinnfb and dmthamade

Seversky
I had to make a mount for the cockpit, otherwise it is not possible to position it correctly. now it is better put the pilot jet seats in right height F-4Phanwell, olgerd83, rafju and 8 others 10

dmthamade
Try dryfitting the seats with the cockpit sills in place. IIRC there were issues with the seats being wide... been a while since I did this build, remember there were a lot of things going on with the cockpit. The jet seats were wide, and I reduced their width. Where can I see your work? Martinnfb
