That looks great Lee. Building a vac is so satisfying.

You are definitely doing a much cleaner job than I am.

Go Lee, go.

Subassemblies.

In a modeling thrall

can't go outside at all

vacuum form or cast some parts!

Subassemblies.

Don't want to build a car

my boredom hasn't got that far

carve a form, and try not to lose heart!

Any mistake might reach a tipping point,

or even running out of glue!

But the stash offers me some refuge now,

I've got another model or two!!!!!

Well, after a multi-year modeling funk, I'm trying to break out of it by forcing myself to to a little every day. I started this a while back in the Cold War GB, and some earlier pics are there. One mistake I did make was the cockpit placement, I was sure it was right, but my eyes said, "Not a chance". So, after re-measuring, I found it to be 15mm too far aft. So, a cut-and-shut was in order, and can be seen here.

Very promising so far :speak_cool:

Is this the Lemkit kit?

Hi, no, this is a scratch build. Lemkits has a -25 Flashlight, but not a -28. Or, maybe they do, and I've been out of the loop! If he does, I'm heating up the credit card and binning this one.

Scratchbuild? Even more impressive :punk:

Nice to see this back, Lee. I can merge this with the original thread if you like, so that all the info is in one place, and there's some continuity.
