rammstein
hello all, Now it is time to bring on the hull plating, round tubing are glued in place, then , I cut out 2 large pieces of sheet styrene, resembling the hull sides, and glue them into place the bow is curved towards the front and towards the bottem, to achive this I cut gently every mm, in doing this the styrene starts to curve that something went wrong is also Obvious in the above photo, but this will be corrected in no time. The port side with its anchor shell Letting it all dry overnight , starting on the bulkheads. Each bulkhead has over 500 rivets, my punch and die has done some overtime enjoy, Rammstein LSP_Paul, LSP_Kevin, Uilleann and 5 others
Out2gtcha
Great stuff! I really like how this is coming together. Are you going to end up displaying any 1/35th tanks or vehicles on it when completed?
rammstein
hello Out2gtcha, I still don't know what I am going to do with it, first I wanted some LVT's in it but they weren't used for LVT, LVT came allmost allways out LST, same for DUKW's, maybe artillery 105's and GMC's, or something else every suggestion is welkom. Barry
Sir, your skills with styrene are surpassed only by your ability to see how to use and form it into what ever you need. This is going to be a fantastic model! Barry Edited August 13, 2019 by Barry spelling Derek B
