dodgem37 Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Doesn't get any better. Great show. Sincerely, Mark
johncrow Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Lovely...any chance you could detail how you got the exhaust/metal areas so convincing? jp
Koralik Posted March 18, 2018 Author Posted March 18, 2018 Thank you, I'm glad that the model is positive received. Engines (exhaust) is a metallic and pearl base. At the beginning I'm making a background from the Tytanium metalliser. In the next steps, work with a dry brush and many shades of pearl colors. Zero77 and Jack 2
Zero77 Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 (edited) Crazy realistic weathering ! The metallic plates around the engine are just awesome ! Edited March 19, 2018 by Zero77
Emilio Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Superb finish! I especially like the engine area! Emil
Bill Cross Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 Really nice, and since there are a lot of these birds showing up, yours is especially nice. Great balance of color and weathering.
ericg Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Hi Koralik, You have done an outstanding job on this model and your paintwork and weathering is very nice, and looks quite realistic. Unfortunately the overall effect is let down significantly by the fact that you have left those tyres perfectly round and have not tried to simulate the weight of the real aircraft by giving them flat spots and giving the viewer an appreciation of the fact that this is a large, heavy aircraft! Eric.

Eric. I have to agree, simple fix though, tape some sandpaper to a level surface and gently flat spot the tyres.Lovely model though. Cheers Brent
