Emilio Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 (edited) Hello everybody, I want to present you my finished Trumpeter A-6E in the markings of VA-35. The kit is rather good, the only aftermarket used is: - Quickboost GRU-7A F-14A Seats, which were very kindly sent to me by Lothar and slightly modified to make them more accurate. - AMS main wheels - 3D printed nose wheels from Ben - Profimodeller pitot tube - AOA decals "The Intruders Sandbox" The build was documented in a very incomplete WiP-thread: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=67216 Cheers Emil Edited January 29, 2018 by Emilio Old Dog, florin13, Marcel111 and 23 others 26

ShangriLa Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 WoW!! I love the weathering man! An Absolutely stunner. What techniques did you use? BG Emilio 1
alaninaustria Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Outstanding work and finish! I LOVE it - the right amount of US NAVY "wear and tear" on this carrier borne bird! Congrats on such an outstanding build!! Cheers Alan Emilio 1
red Dog Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Very nice i love your weathering and corrosion control paint. Struggling myself with a corsair i know how hard it is to do it right. If mine comes half as good as yours, i'll be happy if i just may add one small personnal feeling, these trumpeter bombs don't do justice to your splendid work. for the rest Woaw !! Shaka HI Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Awesome! And I personally love the minimal bomb load, TBH. It doesn't overwhelm the aircraft. Excellent photographs! Wow! Emilio 1
