alaninaustria
Am really hoping we will be blessed with an accurate 1/32 T-38 soon!! Cheers Alan Ps: I have a gaggle of Shepherd graduates (German Airforce) waiting for me to build them some desk top models of their favorite mount!! Tony T
As noted yesterday... According to a post on BM Kitty Hawk will be following up the Tiger IIs with Freedom Fighters... http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235031721-132-northrop-f-5ab-freedom-fighter-by-kitty-hawk/ ...although I'm more than happy to get an F-5E later this Winter or early Spring, March falling on the cusp (comes in a lion and goes out a lamb, as the saying goes). Tony T
And I think this is going to happen. Tan Model seem to be manufacturers of Turkish Delight only. Tony
thierry laurent
They possibly released an excellent RF-84F but that is not the point. They announced large kits for which it seems they did not have the means to change CAD into physical tooling... Having dreams is one thing but 'locking' a market with announcements that stay vaporware is a very bad thing for everybody! Bad for them as they will not be trusted anymore, bad for competitors that will be afraid to release a similar topic and bad for modellers who are waiting for ages for never to be released kits. I prefer companies that announce nothing but deliver! alaninaustria, Dandiego, Tony T and 1 other
Tony T
Tan Model are releasing LSPs: the test shots have already been done for the 1/24 Turkish drone. If they don't proceed with the Su-33 I hope they sell the designs to a firm which will cut metal and inject styrene. The Buccaneer is primarily a 1/48 subject with a tiddler to follow, apparently, which will likely sell in more than adequate numbers. Back on a 100% positive thread, Kitty Hawk are making the Freedom Fighter, Tiger II and Tigereye. YES! Let's buy them all so they follow up with their Thunder Factory jets. Juggernut
I'm in for a T-38 Talon, in USAF livery naturally.
SharkOwl
A most recent message on TanModels facebook page seems to confirm there will be no 1/32 Northrop F-5A/B/C/D Freedom Fighter & T-38 Talon from TanModels in the forseable future. The road is now wide open for Kitty Hawk to transform their project for a 1/32 Northrop F-5A/B/C/D Freedom Fighter family of kits from a ''may be'' to a ''confirmed'' status and may be for Wolf Pack to eventually produce a 1/32 Northrop T-38 Talon family of kits. Lets hope and see ! SharkOwl Reference : https://www.facebook.com/tanmodel/posts/806535572868039 Edited March 2, 2018 by SharkOwl Tony T

Tony T
I think you'll see the Tan Model 1/32 Su-33 Sea Flanker before too long, and an all-new 1/32 slatted F-4E Phantom II sometime later. When exactly is anyone's guess. The Chinese and South Korean manufacturers are the best future bet for Freedom Fighters and Talons. Tony T
Horten will make money. It has that little crooked cross on it....... Curiously, Z-M released the twin seat Horten as a resin conversion set instead of a new boxing, presumably to shift a few more single seater kits. Aerodynamically attractive and it looks good in a plain wood and metal finish (without the 1930s National Socialist logo), but that nose gear is something out of TV's Scrapheap Challenge - which is probably exactly what it was. If I'd flown the T-38 I would have long since bought one of those painted mahogany masterpieces featuring a blue canopy - though a 1/32 IM one in gloss white with NASA markings would be dandy. Bruce
I built an old Fujimi T-38s in my solo aircraft markings that I still have but I'd love to have it in 1/32. Bruce phasephantomphixer
