BloorwestSiR
I picked up some figures for a build of a Scammell tank transporter and M3 Grant. I also got something a bit bigger. I'm debating how much I'm going to mod this. At the moment, I'm thinking not much. Carl Out2gtcha, LSP_K2 and Artful69

I bought some paints for it yesterday and it may well be my next build . Cheers, Michael LSP_K2

dutik
Recieved today PanzerShops brand new kit of the AH-IV-Hb tankette. "Hb" indicates "Abyssinia" in Czech, which is nowadays Ethiopia. These family of Czech tankettes were made before the war and sold to Romania (participating in WW2 at the Eastern front), Sweden and Persia (nowadays Iran). After WW2 (and the Italian invasion before) the Ethiopians felt the urgent to modernize their armed forces. The Negus Haile Selaisse resisted the urge to buy medium tanks and followed the advice of his Swedish army advisers to buy Czech tankettes to start with the establishment of Ethiopian tank forces. This was a wise advise - the Ethiopian crews had a hard time to get used to tanks. some even were convinced that tanks were cursed things... But they got it right and overwhelmed the elite Imperial Ethiopian Cavalry corps during a large maneuver. From that time on they were used as a lever (a reliable one) to collect taxes from reluctant desert tribes... Thats my story, and I stick to it. OK, for the record: The nucleus of the Imperial Ethiopian Aviation was formed in 1924, officially organized into the IEA on August 18th 1929, and the first female student pilot in Africa was Mulu-Embet Imru, who participated in the very first flying course in Ethiopia in 1930. LSP_K2
My roommate knows that I'm an amateur astronomer (totally amateur), as well as the fact that I enjoy word play, so he snatched a couple of these for me as a birthday gift. I think they're just too cool. Out2gtcha, Kagemusha, coogrfan and 2 others
