Thank you, Womble...   and everyone else for the likes!

Today I fell prey to my own assumptions made at the beginning of the build.  But before I get to that a pic or two.

Yes, I got the legs, wheels, guns an pitot on.

When I built the PCM Ta 152C over a year ago, the LG just went into place like nobody's business.  Today it was quite a struggle to get the geometry right.  Things look wonky to my eyes, but at least both wingtips are 52mm from the deck.

To make things worse, I damaged the paint job near the starboard MG FF and near the port aileron.  I wear a glove on the 'holding' hand, and must have gotten a bit of CA on it.  CA only seems to stick to paint well when you don't want it too.

I compared the LG geometry of the PCM TA to the  FW.

I also did some scuffing and sponge chipping.  But I thought it was too much so I sanded it back a bit.  Can;t even see it now.

Great fix with the CA glue fingers.  I can't see any damage from your pictures.  I seem to get into a lot of trouble with that stuff.

Your model is looking great.  Keep up the good work.

Cheers,

Michael.

PS.  Happy belated birthday:beer4:

Great looking model there, Gazzas.  Your painting and attention to detail is wonderful.  So nice to see a 190 which isn't grey, grey and more grey.

Cheers,

Michael

Thank you, Michael!  I could be wrong about the colors used.  But I also blame the profile artists who have churned out so many grey profiles.  As far as I'm concerned, the Fw's were painted with the same paints as the 109's and everything else.  But finding a FW not in the factory scheme was a great opportunity.
