campingbaer66 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Hello everybody , after around two months of fun and little pain I have yesterday finished my next Wingnut Wings model , the Salmson 2 in USAF markings. It was one of the most challenging kits from WnW until now , and the hardest task was the rigging , that gave me more problems then usual du to the complexity of the amount of double flying wires. As usual I used not much aftermarket stuff in the build , the only things are HGW belts and the very good Bob's Buckles eyelets. Without too much words , here comes the pictures , hope you like them. First a few in progress pictures : Out2gtcha, LSP_Kevin, scvrobeson and 3 others 6
campingbaer66 Posted April 28, 2019 Author Posted April 28, 2019 And here completed : Trak-Tor, Nick32, LSP_Kevin and 11 others 14
campingbaer66 Posted April 28, 2019 Author Posted April 28, 2019 some more Peter scvrobeson, Longbow_06, Out2gtcha and 16 others 19
petrov27 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 That is just a fantastic build there - kudos! Love the choice of scheme!
Durangokid Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Wow that looks great! You're not kidding about the rigging, what kind did you use? I just bought a WNW kit and I'm a bit worried about the rigging since I haven't done anything like that before. Bryan
aircare84 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Great build ! The rigging turned out well. Can see how it took some time, quite a few wires to daa. Thanks for posting.
Rod Bettencourt Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 That is great and the rigging looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing. Rod
