Jan_G
Have started this new great model from ZM I plan to build it OOB and to play with weathering a little so far I have to confirm that it's pure fun to put it together Im building late armored version in dark green finish the manual - I like this ZM style so much My package doesn't contain sprue N but have 3 sprues M instead. I don't want to wait for replacement and will try to scratch all missing parts. Should be easy engines parts painted and shaded, ready for weathering. Did'n pu much energy into this because it will be mostly hidden central part of the wing fuselage parts scratched some small missing parts from sprue N thanks for looking jan Edited February 28, 2019 by Jan_G D.B. Steve Eagle
Really looking forward to more of this build. The instruction booklet that is online looks very complex. I have one on order and want to do this kit up right. Jan_G

Thanks Wouter! honestly I prefer to paint bigger subassemblies but in some cases like this when every part is in different color and it would be rather complicated to weather it, I'm taking this route jan

Vandy 1 VX 4
That is looking great Jan!!!!! What paint colors and manufacturers are you using in this build? If you wouldn't mind posting on a regular basis on that please. Because I have this kit on order here in the US. I'm not familiar with with Japanese aircraft. Thank you Danny Edited January 5, 2019 by Vandy 1 VX 4 Jan_G

Will try Danny but generally all metallic paints were so far Alclads and MRP specific japanesse colours are Mr.Color range (as mentioned in kit instructions), because MRP doesn't have them colors used for the engines: Khaki - C55 (Mr.Color) cylinders - Dark aluminium (Alclads) Radiators - Copper (MRP) engine body - some light grey (MRP) - didn't find any specific call out in instructions for this color Exhausts - Burnt iron (Alclads),then thinned rust color (MRP), exhaust soot (MRP)for the ends of exhausts Mig Dark wash used, finished with semigloss and semimatt varnish layers HTH jan sandokan, Vandy 1 VX 4 and Shawn M
