Rod Bettencourt
This is my Hasegawa 1/32 Ju 87D-8 Nachtschlacht from squadron 1.NSG 9 Italy during the summer of 1944. I started out with the intent to build a G-2 but got enamored with this unit's different camouflage schemes. Most of the markings are painted using Montex Masks with Model Master paints. I also used voyager's cockpit Quick Boost Props and HGW seat belts. The canopy was very challenging, I ended up taking a dremel to it to thin it out so I could display the cockpit open. This is also my first attempt at putting together natural setting display base. I tried to finish this kit two months ago so the country side would still be green, I will reshoot next spring perhaps. Thanks for looking. Rod Monty Python, Mal_Belford, tucohoward and 18 others

LSP_Kevin
Fantastic build, Rod! Looks great, as does the diorama base. And the outdoor lighting really gives it a sense of reality. May I publish it on the website? Kev
