Archimedes
Why oh why oh why BBC Airfix, must you do such iconic aircraft In. The. Wrong. Scale? We ordered this in 1/32… So, no 1/32 and no Bader decals for K-1676… sigh. What could have been… Kind regards, Paul Christa, Martinnfb and LSP_K2

mozart
Yep, way to go Paul! You’d enjoy the challenge of a Silver Wings kit….far from easy but very rewarding. Archimedes, scvrobeson, Iain and 1 other 3
Dpgsbody55
I feel very much the same way about ICM's new 1/48 B-26 Marauder. ICM has said they won't be upscaling it and such small scales don't fit in with my build plans. Or my eyesight. What chance Airfix will do a 1/24 Bulldog? Somewhere around none whatsoever I imagine. Cheers, Michael Martinnfb
Phantom2
I guess the Bulldog is on the ICM "must do list", it fits like a glove in their line-up! Also the Chipmunk, Miles Magister, Cherokee, Cessna 150/172 and Avro 504K would fit quite good! One can dream, eh? That is far more than the Bf-109. Unlike Messerschmitt's finest, the 172 is the aircraft that people on this forum are most likely to have flown and yet there has never been a kit of it in injection molded plastic in 1/32. Another example of "If it doesn't have guns on it - it won't sell'. Pffff. Kind regards, Paul Christa, Alain Gadbois, MikeC and 2 others
Martinnfb
Let us hope. Bulldog is an icon of its era and I am sure that either 1/32 or 1/24 rendition would sell like cookies. Archimedes
europapete
The 1/32 Bulldog is still available from Silver Wings. Archimedes and mozart

I am becoming a convert to the medium because it offers a higher level of detail. Thanks to your prompt Max I decided to buy the Silverwings Bulldog. But ICM: please do a Cessna 172 in 1/32 Kind regards, Paul europapete, Christa, firefly7 and 2 others
mozart
Good on you Paul! The first resin kit I ever built was a Silver Wings Fw44 Stieglitz, and it was a revelation. I built it using CA but now I use 2 part epoxy for larger joins and pure strength, with CA or UV for smaller parts.
