    Hello guys,

One of my last pre-Covid builds, here is my Mig-21 MF LanceR C ( air-to-air) variant of Romanian AF. I used the beautiful conversion kit from Icaerodesign and a Master pitot.
Hataka Orange Line paint set for RoAF came to rescue for camo painting (lovely stuff), oils, pigments, washes from all over the place. Trumpeter's kit is nice enough to keep you going, details are there....but if I am honest I should've replace the wheels with some resin parts as well as the seat. Overall, I'm pleased with the result.
    Cheers.

This is Revell's 1/32nd scale kit of the Bell X1 supersonic research aeroplane.
It is the one that was flown through the "sound barrier" by Captain Charles "Chuck" Yeager on the 14th October 1947.

I engraved the panel lines and added a set of aftermarket seat belts.
The instrument dials came from the Airscale range.
I also added detail to the inner face of the cockpit access hatch.

    Hi all,
As I'm waiting for the display case for the Bristol M.1C model, I thought I'd star the next model.
This model will represent the Nieuport N.28C1, Serial No.6177, of the 95th Aero Squadron, 1st Pursuit Group, operating from Saints aerodrome, France, during 1918.
This particular aircraft was flown by 1st Lt. Quentin Roosevelt, the son of the ex-President.
As very little of the cockpit will be seen, I'll just add control lines and bracing rigging, so essentially 'out-of-box - I think

Dear LSP team. I am happy to present the latest finished model. Its the 1/32 Hawk Mk.1 of the Finnish Air Force.
    Kit: Revell
    Scale:1/32
Aftermarket: CMK Instrument panels, Quickboost Seats, Avalon Decals
    Paints: Ammo, Vallejo, Future
Weathering: Flory Models Washes, Ammo Oilbrushers
    Base made by my friend.

The kit has its issues however does fall together fairly well. Its Revell and its simplified in some areas but I believe the kit does capture the shapes of the real aircraft well. For those who wish to go to town on superdetailing this kit provides a good base. I used only instrument panels with coamings from CMK Quick and Easy line, and Quickboost seats. I have received the kit from my wife for Christmas couple years back so I wanted to build it. She loves colorful schemes that break up the grays in the display shelf (herself building a 1/48 Hellcat Drone) When a friend showed me the Avalon Decals sheet for Hawks from Finland I was sold. This one is ex-Swiss aircraft. All in all enjoyable mojo building experience and one kit finished. I saw a quote the other day on on forum that said the following: “The best thing on finishing a model, is the fact that without hesitation you can dive into your stash and start another one”. Happy modeling everyone.
    Cheers, Jarda Hajecek

    Hello

Here is my KH Mirage 2000N.

Although this version of the 2000 is the "Nuke" one, it was also used for conventional bombing. The quad GBU is the latest loadout validated before the A/C was phased out from the forces. It was used in conjunction with a 2000D or a Rafale equipped with the targeting pod (which cannot be fitted on the N

Having built the 2000C previously, no big surprises: KH was constant in the errors and poor choices. Typically there is a mad man at KH who decided that the front canopy should be only shown closed... I spent god knows how much time to DIY a way to keep it open...

Painted with Xtracolor enamels (handbrush as usual). I used decals from Berna.

The GBU-12 as from Eduard and are very nice. I used the 3D printed helmets and laders from reedoak. They are magnificient.

Welding lines on the fuel tank are made with 0.2 mm fishing line.

Edit: A note for those who plan to build a 2000D: there are two air scoops that are installed on the belly on each side of the center line pylon. Unfortunately KH did not put them in this box. They are, however, available in the single seater box as they are also installed on the -5.

I've been itching to make this ever since Lothar sent it to me (thank you old friend!).  I know the SW Tiger Moth is going to be "testing" in terms of patience, delicacy and detail at times, so I need something more robust, dare I say "straightforward" as an antidote!  Rock on!!

Not surprisingly, it will be finished as a 56 Squadron T7:

    Hi guys,
now that my exam and other social commitments are over I am about to commence building a Twogar for this GB.
As this is my first resin kit I will take it slow, so no guarantees it will be finished by then.  I may also ask a lot of questions relating to building techniques for this medium.

Ok, so the version I am going for is the Twogar as stationed in NAS Atsugi, Japan - making Bu No 147413.  Got the kit and  using Naval Fighters number sixty-eight by Steve Ginter as main reference.  Any AM and upgrades used will be discussed as I go along.

    Pictures to follow.

Here's my build, ironically it was the next on my bench just because I liked the scheme so much, but with the new GB about to start worked perfectly.

No doubt I'll add some extras into the mix and have to snag a Revell late canopy (my second hand kit clear parts were MIA)

I finished this one about the same time as my Roden Stearman and Aeroclub Pitts Special.  Somehow in the excitement of finishing the 35 year Pitts project, I failed to post this one.

I started this one in 2002 while living in San Antonio.  It sat for a long time waiting, along with the Pitts, to be finished.

I used Yellow Wings decals as kit decals were badly yellowed.
