A simple kit with few parts, but looks good when completed.  I did get the Quickboost radiator insert and used an Eduard prop.

Here is my build of Roden's Sopwith Strutter kit.  I have replaced the kit engine with a Vector Clerget 9 engine and made numerous scratchbuilt parts.  I have represented the flying wires with tubing and monofilament.  The kit has a typical Roden flavor with improved wing strut locating pins and holes.
I have depicted a USAS strutter of the 90th Aero Squadron flown by Lt. H. R. Ellis and Lt. P. B. Schuss out of the Ourches aerodrome in France in July 1918.  The research work was done by George Grasse, to whom I am grateful for his effort.  The plane still had French markings as it came from a French squadron.

The LZ38 was the first zeppelin to bomb London in 1915, leaving 7 dead.  I have depicted this airship here with the Takom zeppelin P class LZ38.
This kit does not have many parts, but is quite challenging to build due to small PE parts with no spares.  I scratchbuilt the gunner's platform on the top, as it is supposed to be on the top of the hull, not set into it as the kit has it.

I photographed the model against a black background as if it were on a night time flight, and photoshopped out the supporting rods.

Here I present my build of the Fokker DR.I #425/17 in its early days.
This Meng kit is well detailed and mine presented additional work due to mis-aligned mold halves, in addition to the usual warped wings and broken fuselage panel.
