Heya Eli welcome back - so good to see your return!
Regarding A-20 options, I have always liked "Miss Behavin" - there was a set from Pyn-Up decals in 1/48 always thought it looked pretty great
Codes and numbers and insignias I would be fine with masks myself if that is cheaper/easier to produce especially

well been a few years more since my last post in this thread in 2020 so how are we doing?
-----
well I posted my list below Nov 2017 so how are we doing 2 years on?
P-51B - a couple firms have mentioned doing one but nothing yet to show - still same in 2023
A-20 - thought we would have seen this one by now.... - WE HAVE ONE in 2023 REJOICE
B-26 - nada - same in 2023
Kate - nada - was in the works in 2023 by Infinity Model but cancelled now?
Val - WE HAVE ONE IN 2023 REJOICE!!
Halberstadt Cl2 - WNW DELIVERED!
Hanriot HD1 - nada though I feel very possible a 2020 kit might show - ANNOUNCED IN 2023 by LUKGRAPH
Nieuport 17 - CSM DELIVERED!
Additions: (2020)
SPAD XIII (i have the old 1/32 kit but a new tool WNW or CSM would rock) - WE HAVE ONE IN 2023 REJOICE
BV138 (heres an odd one but it would be cool in 1/32) - WE HAVE ONE IN THE WORKS IN 2023 BY HPH MODEL
BP Defiant - still nada in 2023

New 2023 additions:
P-38 series - wouldn't a new-tooled quality modern release in 1.32 be nice?
Hellcat - same - a new tool 1/32 would be nice right?

wow those are some nice subjects - so glad to see a Hanriot on the way
-
that looks pretty good - maybe the best rendition of the spine and rear windows I have seen in 1/32 at least from this angle

wow looks fantastic - great finish and result! Weathering seems spot on - kudos!

Third on the need for a Marauder in 1/32 - it is I think the top of my wish-list to see one before I am too old and feeble to do anything more than gum the sprues

ah man that really sucks about the Kate
-
wow - looking amazing - those look like finished fiberglass (I think?) castings for the hull/fuse and wings - that seems like a major step in getting this to production

Pretty excited about the HK A-20G release - decided to purchase some reference materials - the book below looked good. First impressions upon arrival are HOLY CRAP yeah its good - so many pictures (most B&W but some color,) many pages of profiles including several of detailed nose art, lots of reading too about the unit and actions during the war....

Yeah I have a ton of his stuff already but taking a look to see if there is some I missed. His P-51D and Spitfire cockpit details are fantastic - would love it if he was able to do some additional cockpit improvement sets for other WW2 a/c.

Very excited to see the Beau parts progressing!

I feel like maybe the HD1 is a little jinxed because it is so obviously a desired subject that manufactures become hesitant to do it because they fear some other company is likely already working on one? Like Aviattic could invest the work time and money to develop it then bam! CSM announces a injection moulded they have in the works which kills their sales?

iridescent tape? Google returns a fair amount of options searching on that term that appear to have potential application here
-
Wow that is a really great build and finish - love it!

Probably covered in AOA correction instructions with the decal set you are using so you may be aware but the kit ejection seats are GRU-7 when for an A they should be GRU-5s which look a fair amount different. I believe AMS Resin still makes the GRU-5 in 1/32. AMS does replacement wheels if the kit provided rubber style are not your cup of tea.
Profimodeller makes a nice turned metal pitot tube for the tail.
If your chosen subject has the ALQ-100 antenna on the wing pylons you might want to replace the "boom" portion with a metal rod or something as the kit provided are flimsy and could be beefed up a little in diameter. I was thinking AMS made replacements for those as well but didn't see on Sprubros so I might be mis-remembering that.

Very nice start. This kit looks really fantastic and has such a nice suite of aftermarket (that said the kit parts are very nice, but there are places where resin and metal (guns) are thinner/more detail vs. plastic)

If you haven't got it already, the MENG 1/24 Fokker DrI is a mighty fine kit....
