Hello my friends,
 I have been quietly sitting in the background working away on my Sopwith Tripe.
Well, today, she is complete (is a model ever complete?) and sitting in the case. 
 
I have this one image for now, but more will follow. I've been super busy of late and finding spare time to think, let alone modelling, is a blessing!

Should be a high gloss, but I’m going for a satin finish - just think it won’t look right.
 
It’s currently gloss and decals done, pin wash next..

Just a quick Gotha UWD update as I had a moment to redo the floats. Will add a bit of streaky clear smoke over the dark wooden areas still, but you get the idea of the effect I’m going for on the bitumous tar-covered floats and tail area of the plane. Green will still be repainted after a few fixes of sanding I missed.
 

Upper wing fitted today after pre rigging it, no drama's and fit was excellent. 
 

 

 

 
Not a lot of rigging on this one so shouldnt take to long, just a few more bits and pieces then need finshing before I call this done.

Hi all,
I looked further at the decking panels.
Missing is the rear of the front decking panel, which should join the rear decking panel.
However, this area is where the wing rear support strut should be located, which would account for half of that area.
I think this missing area can be filled with modelling putty, once the wing struts and decking panels are finally fitted, later in this build.

I’ve had time to put a bit of colour on the cockpit,  I think it is almost done but may add a bit of chipping.  I think the green is a little green but it’s the mix Tamiya recommend in their mustang kit,  if I do another I may use Mr color h58 which looks a better colour.  So far the kit is a pleasure to build.  There are a few frustrations like the engine core and the fuselage frame behind the cockpit but nothing that can’t be fixed.  Cheers.
