LSP_Kevin
Howdy folks, Ray is back with a look at some F-16 intakes from Zactomodels: Zactomodels Large-mouth and Small-mouth F-16 Intakes for the Academy F-16 kits Thanks, Ray! And thanks too to Chris Wilson of Zactomodels for the review sample. Kev Luca, johncrow, LSP_K2 and 3 others

Marcel111
Nice to see Chris releasing this. The small mouth version is excellent, as in couldnt be any better excellent, and this will enable the large mouth version of the Academy kit to be build (the kit intake sits too close to the fuselage). If Chris would make these intakes for the Tamiya kit I would also buy them, that would just save a ton of work and entirely eliminate seams. Cheers, Marcel
aircommando130
Now we need a small mouth without the vents on the side for the Israeli AF SUFA!!!!!

Darren Howie
Got a pair a few weeks ago and makes a great change to the big significant issue on the Academy kit. Super quality as always and service as well. Nice to see Chris releasing this. The small mouth version is excellent, as in couldnt be any better excellent, and this will enable the large mouth version of the Academy kit to be build (the kit intake sits too close to the fuselage). Cheers, Marcel I doubt it most people bought the various intakes years ago when you could buy spares from HLJ. I picked up gear doors, intakes etc as did lots of people into F-16's so i think he knows most of his market is gone if it comes to Tamiya may be far more limited than Acacemy. Especially with the two seaters being available.

ScottsGT
Chris' items are all a work of art. I have this intake for my Academy kit. Also built the A7 in my avatar with his correction kit. Also have the A7 D to build one day too.
Squizzy 78
Zactomodels stuff is top notch, I've used the f-16 small mouth, and the f-14 intakes, and the standard of the resin sets is unbelievable. Chris really does set the standard for after market resin. The f-16 intake only requires one seam to be rectified, and the tomcat set actually has the panel lines inside the intakes. Truly a work of art! Youngtiger1
