LSP_Kevin
Thats uncanny- could easily be a real subject in the photo. Youve totally brought that old kit to life- congrats! 100% agreement here! Kev kkarlsen

Midnightwrecking
I had to take a second look at that first pic. If it was in black and white you would have sucked me in longer. Brilliant! kkarlsen
Big Tony
What a great job you`ve done on this old kit, brilliant! Can you please tell me what you did to convert the older style windscreen portrayed in the kit into the later type employed by the RAAF Mk.Ic`s? Cheers Tony kkarlsen
kkarlsen
Thanks! All the glass parts, pilot + navigator, wingtip navigation lights and the antenna dome, have all been replaced by new vacu-formed ones. They were done over a mold made from balsawood or modelling clay. Also the new intakes were constructed as a two-part vacu-form. The wheels were remade too. By making a copy of the kit ones and making a two-part mold. They were then vacuformed, assembled and re-heated at the 'bottom' to make them look really "sagged". kkarlsen
Just found some few close up photos.... (Per Kristensen - Søndersø) A little 'fuzzy' in the corners, but considering it to be almost my first project in 30 years, I'm quite happy with it. (The first was a remake of Shepherd Paine's 1/48 crashed B-17 diorama).. mozart
The attention to detail in every aspect of this diorama is beyond words, right down to the hat casually placed on the table. It certainly rocks my boat and epitomises the kind of thing that I strive to do......though this sets the bar very high indeed!!!!! Many congratulations.
