Thanks! All the glass parts, pilot + navigator, wingtip navigation lights and the antenna dome, have all been replaced by new vacu-formed ones.They were done over a mold made from balsawood or modelling clay. Also the new intakes were constructed as a two-part vacu-form. The wheels were remade too. By making a copy of the kit ones and making a two-part mold. They were then vacuformed, assembled and re-heated at the 'bottom' to make them look really "sagged".

A little 'fuzzy' in the corners, but considering it to be almost my first project in 30 years, I'm quite happy with it.

 

(The first was a remake of Shepherd Paine's 1/48 crashed B-17 diorama)..

The attention to detail in every aspect of this diorama is beyond words, right down to the hat casually placed on the table. It certainly rocks my boat and epitomises the kind of thing that I strive to do......though this sets the bar very high indeed!!!!! Many congratulations.
