mc65
Ho Tolga, nice (and challenging) kit's choice! I did the very same subject a couple of years ago, another bug is about the guns position on the wing's leading edge. let see if I find my wip... here: Edited February 23 by mc65 Antonio Argudo, BiggTim and Tolga ULGUR

Biggles87
That looks like a good fit, I put one in my Mustang 1A but had to sand the roof to wafer thin to get it in. John LSP_Kevin and Tolga ULGUR

John What you wrote encourages me to use the other set I have in the P-51A project. It is possible that I will bring this to my agenda as well. Biggles87
I’m pleased to hear it. I also used the Vector cockpit on my -1A, it’s beautifully detailed and fitted really well. John Tolga ULGUR

However, I left the wheel well as it was. Biggles87
Tolga ULGUR
I started working on the fuselage. I made the exhaust slots more reasonable by using thin plastic sheet. I will use Aerocraft's exhausts instead of Trumpy's crappy ones phasephantomphixer, geedubelyer, Greg W and 15 others
Tolga ULGUR
Some progress I decided to build this model with the flaps down. However, this requires some modifications in the fuselage. I made these areas with plastic sheet and putty HB252, scvrobeson, Isar 30/07 and 16 others
Tolga ULGUR
Today's update: This is one of the most problematic parts of Trumpy's kit. As seen in the pictures, the area between the windows behind the cockpit is very wide. It is obvious that this is not the job of Trumpy's A team. Aerocraft released a clear resin kit a few years ago for this problem. It looks like it will work. The necessary parts of the fuselage were cut. Test fitting looks good. I keep moving forward, hoping I don't run into Murphy. Greg W, Landrotten Highlander, HB252 and 17 others

Biggles87
A brave move with the flaps, and as Martin says you do make it look easy. John Tolga ULGUR and Martinnfb
LSP_Kevin
Well done, Tolga! I'll have to get the Aerocraft piece for my own build. Kev Tolga ULGUR
