1/32 Trumpeter P-51B Mustang with Aerocraft corrections

Recommended Posts

After Fuselage, I turned to wings.
Because some corrections are needed before joining the fuselage.
I have marked in the pictures what needs to be corrected or added.
Some panel lines need to be erased and replaced with new ones. Similarly, the landing light must be moved inward.

Love the lines on the -51B/C.  Show us the way forward Tolga.

Thanks a lot Troy

Despite all this effort, the shape of the fuselage behind the cockpit still does not look good enough to me. Still looks a little fat

Let's see what it will look like when it's finished.

Hi Tolga,

The thing that most impresses me with the majority of your builds is that you make your models from fairly old or basic kits - certainly not the latest, uber-expensive kits.   So many people seem to get caught up in the 'if it's not the latest kit it's bad' mentality.   You continually show us mere mortals how old, simple kits can be built into stunning miniatures, with a little bit of tender loving care.  This model is such an example.  There are some who would turn their nose up at a currently available P-51A/B kit but you continue to prove that a sow's ear can be turned into a silk purse.   You are a true modeller.

Cheers,

Wayne
