David Mooney
Hello all, This is the final build of the year, and i've just got it over the line. Not much to add on this one as i said it all in my last build two weeks ago of the same kit 1/32 Kotare Spitfire Mk 1a - Ready for Inspection - Large Scale Planes So, i dont think i've done a bad job getting this done in under two weeks. Happy new year to you all All comments welcome MikeMaben, John1, mywifehatesmodels and 18 others
Shoggz
Very nice indeed. It sure is a sweet looking aircraft and you have done it full justice! Two weeks? Wow, I took two months to complete mine! Kagemusha, scvrobeson and David Mooney

mozart
Fantastic looking Spit David….put that with the right background and you wouldn’t know that it’s a model. Marvellous! David Mooney
Jaro
Superb! I always liked the DG-DE camo scheme; Spitfire (and Gladiator) look great in this livery to me. David Mooney

Thank you, its pretty much the iconic colours of the Spitfire isn't it and oddly takes you back in time when you see the DG-DE camo on any aircraft of the era. MikeC
It is certainly the iconic BoB-period Spitfire. Well done, beautifully rendered David Mooney
dennismcc
I'm with Max on this one, it looks too realistic to be a model, and 2 weeks, it takes me that long to open the box, read the instructions and start cutting parts from the sprues. Great job. Cheers Dennis Uncarina, David Mooney and MikeC
Juggernut
Very nice! These are the markings I plan to use on mine. Hopefully, mine will come out looking as nice as yours. Did you use the kit decals, aftermarket (Fundekals?), or masks/sprayed markings? David Mooney

No, these are from my own marking sets, if you DM me I'll post you a link if you would like to use them instead of the decals. Uncarina
Wonderful work David! I especially like the really tight feathered edge you’ve achieved with the camouflage pattern. Cheers, Tom David Mooney
