From what I remember, it’s much more than the shape of the fin. It appeared that each production model was built for a specific purpose so there could be differences in the wingspan, undercarriage, etc.

I don’t doupt it, it’s just the obvious difference that came to me from memory.

I have the Revell 1/72 kit, which had a mix of versions…
