Well, it's the same team that did 'Band of Brothers' and 'The Pacific', two of the most brilliantly written, directed and filmed series ever! As I understand it, the accuracy and adherence to detail was pretty good too, considering how poor some WWII movies/series have been. (Pearl Harbour, cough, cough...) I'm quietly confident. I bet they push the myth of there being no escort fighter available until the P-51. It's such a widely held belief, that I can't see them being up-to-date enough to portray the truth, that Happ Arnold was trying to prove a point about unescorted bombers. I would really love to see them remake The Winds of War and War and Remembrance, they were okay, but Mitchum was really to old to play Pug.
