The one bi-plane I really like and would like to one day scratch build in a large scale is the Martinsyde F.4 Buzzard. Derek I had to look that one up Derek, not exactly the sleek shark-like profile of a Fury but lots of character I’m sure. Derek B

europapete
Looks like they forgot to fill the seam line on the fuselage Max, better have a word with the Shuttleworth works Foreman. Shoggz, mozart, Landrotten Highlander and 1 other 1
europapete
Interesting how the sunlight is catching the diagonal wing fabric join lines. Edited April 30, 2023 by europapete spelling ( how on earth does one mis-spell "the") !???! MikeC and mozart

Indeed Max; the F.4 Buzzard was very much top dog at the end of WW 1 in terms of performance, but just too late to see any widespread service by the end the war, whereas the Hawker Fury made into WW II! (although the Finnish Air Force - which is the one I would make - retired theirs in 1939!). Derek Kagemusha and mozart

So grand fou, what flight time did you choose? 30 min? 45 min? 65 min? I'd like to say I'm not jealous but then that would be a huge lie! Enjoy every moment! NB: I'm going to leave the hurricaneheritage web page up long enough on my computer for my wife to accidentally click on it...or almost! Yeah baby, yeah ! KiwiZac
The foil is what's kept my Airfix 1/48 Fury in its box for a couple of years - this is what I want to achieve. Beautiful work! mozart and Derek B 1
