denders
I'm in with the Special Hobby A5M4 kit. I may do this aircraft after some research on the colors. I don't remember where the photo came from. Of course, It will be before this accident. I know there are several recent threads to use for reference. Now to drag out the references I have. denders
Okay, kit contents. Plastic parts. Resin parts Photoetch Decals This looks like a relative of the plane in the picture that I had posted, so it would appear that the tail stripe is yellow. I may go in search of another plane that is perhaps more colorful or has more dissimilar colors. Alain Gadbois
Cool subject! All the markings offered in the kit are colorful, so you can't go wrong with any of them. Alain Gazzas
denders
Yes, they are, that's why I bought the kit. Lots of red. And some yellow. I bought a Mushroom Model yellow series book and it has an aircraft with red tail and fuselage stripes with blue fuselage and wing stripes. And blue wheel spats. That would be interesting too. I'll have to do my research. Gazzas and Rick Griewski
denders
This is from Maru Mechanic #28. This is the current build selection, but I have a Kagero book coming. I'll see if there's anything more interresting. I'll need to figure out a blue paint. It might be close enough to MRP's True Blue ANA501. It'll definitely be a challenge with the white stripes. Dave EDIT: I think I'll go with RLM 24 for the blue. Edited December 3, 2022 by denders coogrfan, Troy Molitor, kkarlsen and 9 others
