airscale Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 really enjoyed your build - just goes to show with skill, effort and determination even old kits can be beautifully turned out bravo !! Peter Derek B and mc65 1 1
ipms4450 Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 Paolo Many thanks for finishing this really beautiful kit. I thoroughly enjoyed reading and re-reading the entire 9 page recounting of the build, and helping myself to several of your ways of doing things. Mine has been set aside once again (3rd time will be the charm) for a quick commission build, then will be back on the bench for the finish later this summer. Again many thanks for all of your work and how to on this kit. Come on ICM, give us a new Lizzie in 32nd please. Russ mc65 1
BiggTim Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 Well done! I have wanted to do this level of work to that kit for some time, and it's good to see you do it. I am very curious about the decal making process - I have some things I'd like to have made as well, so I may PM you. Tim mc65 1
MikeMaben Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Nice Paolo, we definitely need more pix ... we'll be waiting ... mc65 1
scorvi Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 Awesome work It inspires me to start my 1/48 Eduard Lysander ...LOT easier than yours. But is sure looks nice in 1/32!! Now if someone decided to do two big resin 3-d printed updates sets for say the two matchbox kits I am in: -Matchbox Lysander -Matchbox Sea Venom OF COUIRSE Steve, mc65 and rafju 1 1
mc65 Posted April 26, 2024 Author Posted April 26, 2024 I posted the photos in the RFI folder, but I forgot to insert them here too, to complete this wip. I'll do it now, forgive the confusion... cheers, Paolo Landrotten Highlander, John1, Panzerwomble and 12 others 15
Archimedes Posted April 27, 2024 Posted April 27, 2024 That is staggeringly good work Paulo! I know this Matchbox kit is a real ‘bear’ to build. Matchbox seemed to pick some subjects where the kit engineering was always going to be a challenge (Tiger Moth, Lysander) because the wing attachment points are so minimal. But you have done an amazing job with this! What a result! Kind regards, Paul Christa and mc65 1 1
Troy Molitor Posted April 27, 2024 Posted April 27, 2024 That is simply gorgeous to look at. Congratulations. Wow. mc65 1
